A Rich History, With Dinosaurs
In 1861, Brigham Young, the president of the Church of the Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints, began a cotton mission in St. George, Utah. During the same year, and around the beginning of the Civil War, Young established a settlement in Washington County, Utah. As a result, the area boasts deep religious roots, and a breadth of Civil War history.
Additionally, the St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm gives Americans the unique thrill of seeing dinosaur remains, well-preserved dinosaur tracks, and a number of ancient fish and plant fossils. Paleontologists have, in fact, dubbed it as "one of the 10 best dinosaur sites in the world."
A Thriving Business Center
With the cost of living in Utah just about on par with the national average, Utah real estate is going quickly. According to KCSG Television, small business employment is increasing, and real estate companies, and the industry in general, both enjoyed a .04% increase from just a year ago, in 2012. The area also hosts concerts, art shows, theater events, and more. Saint George Utah solidifies its status as a business and cultural hub, with its proximity to the popular Zion National Park. Zion Natural Park and park features like the Zion Canyon, attract tourists from all around with world. St. George, sometimes called "Utah's Dixie," also boasts a beautiful, temperate climate.

Luxury home prices are not stable. If anything, they are increasing. Home buyers should buy now, before the prices climb too high. Likewise, the cost of living in Utah, as of it stands, is relatively close to the national average. Purchasing when the cost of living is at a relative low is also a smart financial decision.
