My dad lives up in the Ogden area, but he owns a condominium down here in St. George.  He visits often and spends most of the winter months down here in the sunshine away fro the snow.  He recently came to town and invited me to join him on an outing for ice cream.  We ended up at Rowley’s Red Barn in Washington.  I ordered a scoop of cold banana nut ice cream, on a hot day, and it was delicious.  Then I had a wonderful time walking around the Red Barn – Country Spoon Store – to see all the things they had to offer.

They have jams and jellies, fruit concentrate, dried fruit, chocolate covered fruit, nuts and mixes, candy, popcorn, juice and gift baskets.  They also have a large selection of freeze dried products, gluten-free products and no sugar added products.  You can buy the products in the store or online.  If you purchase $50 of product, your shipping is free.  I ended up buying cherry jam, red raspberry syrup, strawberry peach salsa and yogurt covered blueberries.

Rowley’s Red Barn is a family owned farm in Santaquin, with another location here in Washington, Utah.  The farm has been in the Rowley family for four generations.   The mission of the Red Barn in Santaquin is “to provide customers with an on-the-farm experience through pick-your-own experiences and tours of the farm, by providing fresh, local fruit, quality fruit products, and homemade ice cream. “  In 2013, Rowley’s Red Barn opened their second outlet in Southern Utah called the Dixie outlet.  They offer all the same great products, fresh fruit and Red Barn made ice cream, as the Santaquin location.

I intend to go back to shop at Rowley’s Red Barn whenever I need a great present for someone who lives in the area or especially for someone from out of town.

Live life to the fullest with no regrets!
