Join the City of St. George for the 2017 Independence Day Celebration on Tuesday, July 4, 2017, from 6:30 am – 11:00 pm. 

Independence Day Parade

This fun parade will start at 7:45 am.  The Parade will go down Tabernacle Street toward Town Square.  After the parade, join your city neighbors for the singing of the National Anthem at Town Square, followed by a day filled with fun and games. 

Independence Day Celebration Carnival

The City of St. George has joined forces with Carnival Midway Attractions to offer a carnival with 16 different rides and 10 games.  The Carnival goes from June 30th - July 4th, but it is closed on Monday, July 3rd.   You can buy individual tickets, a mega pass or a wristband.

Independence Day Games, Contests and Activities

There will be several games, activities and contests going on throughout the Independence Day Holiday.  Some that might peak your interest:  Hot Dog Eating, Watermelon Seed Spitting, Sponge Toss, Shooting Arcade, Squirt off the Ping Pong, and Pop the Balloon.  You also might want to participate in the Talent Show, or several contests such as Yoga, Zumba, and Karaoke.

99.9 KONY Country 4th of July Celebration

You can end the night with Diamond Rio and Sawyer Brown LIVE IN CONCERT!  This event will be held at the Legend Solar Stadium on the DSU Campus.  The doors open around 5:00 pm with the two concerts at approximately 7:00 pm and 8:30 pm.  Fireworks will go off after the concert at about 10:00 pm.  If you don’t want to attend the concert you can still view the fireworks for free from the DSU Encampment Mall, located by the Holland Building where the Kite Festival is held.
